LTC(retired) Derek Reeve grew up in Puyallup, Washington and graduated from Governor John R. Rogers High School in 1985. He attended Green River Community College for two years before transferring to the University of Washington on an Army ROTC Scholarship. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from the UW in 1989 with his commission as a Second Lieutenant in Armor. He received his Master of Science Degree in Adult Education from Kansas State University in 2003.

His duty stations include Fort Knox, Kentucky, Fort Riley Kansas, Fort Huachuca Arizona, Campbell Barracks-Heidelberg Germany, Conn Barracks-Schweinfurt Germany, Fort Carson Colorado, Fort Leavenworth Kansas, The Armoured Fighting Vehicle Gunnery School in Lulworth UK, the University of San Francisco California and Joint Base Lewis-McChord Washington. He has deployed to both combat and peace enforcement missions including the 1991 Gulf War, Bosnia, Kosovo and Afghanistan.

He has served in a variety of leadership positions including Tank Platoon Leader, Scout Platoon Leader, Tank Company Commander, Recon Troop Commander, S-3 Operations Officer at the Battalion and Brigade Level, Battalion Executive Officer, Deputy Commander, Professor of Military Science and J-3 Joint Operations Officer. He retired from Active Duty in 2015 after 26 years of Service and now teaches JROTC at Graham Kapowsin High School in Graham, Washington.

He is married to the former Denell Gratzer of Puyallup Washington and they have a son, Nick.

SGM (Ret) Timothy Beall grew up in Fairfield, Iowa and graduated Fairfield High School in 1986. He joined the 224th Engineer Company, Iowa Army National Guard in February 1986. Went to Basic Training at Fort Dix, NJ and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Belvoir, VA.  Following AIT he attended Scott Community College where he received a certification in drafting.

Within SGM (Ret) Beall 27 years of service he has served in a variety of leadership positions, including Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, First Sergeant, S-3 Operations Sergeant Major, Battalion Sergeant Major and Task Force Sergeant Major.

His duty assignments include 224th Engineer Company in Fairfield, IA, 4th Transportation Command and 1st Transportation Movement Control Agency,  Oberusel, Germany, A Co. USAG, Yakima, WA, 659th Engineer Company, Spokane, 4th Brigade 91st Division, 2122nd Garrison Support Unit, 191st Infantry Brigade, 1st Battalion 356th Regiment Logistic Support, Medical Training Task Force (MTTF) Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Security Forces Advisory Team (SFAT 14, Gladiators) in support of Operation Enduring Freedom XII-XIII, Kandahar City and 555th Engineer Brigade (Rear Det), Joint Base Lewis-McChord where he retired in 2013.

His military education includes Primary Leadership Development Course, NBC Course, Basic Non-Commissioned Officers Course, Advanced Non-Commissioned Officers Course, First Sergeants Course, United States Army Sergeants Major Academy and Combat Advisory Training course. SGM (Ret) Beall has two degrees, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Capella University, and Associate in Technical Engineering from Yakima Valley Community College.

SGM Beall resides in Graham, WA.  He is married to the former Pamela Poisel of Yakima, WA and they have a daughter Miranda, and son Tim Jr.
