Fitness

FITNESS
Fitness is a highly competitive, athletic-style team that participates in events focused on strength, endurance, and physical fitness. It’s not only to win awards and receive bragging rights but also to help improve someone’s health and physicality. Throughout the year, joining the Fitness Team will do nothing but benefit the people who decide to participate. Just know that by deciding to join the team, you’ll be destined for greatness.
DRILL MEETS
A Drill Meet is one of the types of events that a GK fitness team would compete in. At a drill meet, they’d participate in 3 different physical exercises, 6 minutes of push-ups, 3 minutes 20 seconds of holding a plank position, and a mile run. They will be scored based on how many of the exercise they do and how fast they complete the mile run.
ONE-OFF COMPETITIONS
An example of a One-Off Competition the Fitness Team would do is the Hanford Fitness Challenge. At Hanford the team would compete in different events, from making and crossing a rope bridge, a 3k run, a cross country rescue (carrying a litter), an obstacle course, and other events that require intense physical strength.
