Color Guard

 

COLOR GUARD

Color Guard is a performance where a team of 4 presents the national colors, the team consists of a Washington and American flag with 2 rifles, these teams participate at different events or competitions. At Color Guard we strive to create a positive and fun environment where we perform our best and proudly represent GK and the Eagle Battalion.

WAYS TO PARTICIPATE:

COMPETITIVE TEAM

These teams compete at drill meets and follow a specific list of movements in a specific order, and then we get scored on it to compete for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place.

EVENT TEAM

These teams don't go to drill meets. This team helps out at events where we have been asked to present the colors. These are short events where you will go out, present, do the pledge or national anthem, and go home. Think football games, school assemblies, and general community events.
